There’s something magical about these woods, the sudden change in light and atmosphere created by the firs always makes me feel dwarfed by giants.

This image uses a tree trunk to provide a binocular frame showing the smooth water flowing gently towards a rising sun. I like to use my images to compel the viewer to look closer and to feel like they could walk into the scene.
