I have been on a short break to Cornwall. A couple of days away and there is a major fire in the new Forest and the news that Beaulieu is no longer going to be host to the National Motor Museum when the lease runs out in 2030.

Apparently, the Charity that runs the museum will be looking to relocate. I imagine they go for something more central with better access arrangements (motorways or A roads).

I understand now that there will still very likely be the events that have attracted so many people to the House and grounds, many of them car related. I have personally much enjoyed a Super Car event and the Spring Garden show.

The House and Gardens are a very tranquil place to visit. Although, it loses its’ status as the National Motor Museum, I am sure it will evolve and change as it has in the past with exciting times ahead.
