One of my favourite birds to be seen in the New Forest at this time of the year is the Redstart. Shape wise and size wise it is easy to confuse it with a Robin. However, it behaves entirely differently, including a shaking of the tail feathers. It’s a real beauty, the male being much more striking than the female.
