It is exceptionally hot out today. Whilst posts like this always prompt somebody say “Big deal… making a fuss about nice weather”… the fact is that there are some people who are very vulnerable, including older people and children and not let’s forget dogs!

The Emergency Care ward of hospitals nearly always see a rise in admissions with people who are dehydrated, have got sunburn or breathing difficulties.

Spare a thought for anybody close by and check on them if necessary…
