I have just had a call back from a representative from Southern Gas Network, (SGN). I am pleased to report that they have restored access to pedestrians and cyclists, following an unfortunate incident that occurred last week.

Clearly, there were major safety issues around forcing cyclists and any pedestrians to use the A326 as an alternative route.
A good outcome !
