I spotted this damaged signage along Wally Hammond Way in Totton.

It made me stop and think. I rather doubt that the sign was damaged in a way that forecasts what is about to happen and was done as a “protest”.

The sign was very securely fixed by an excess of screws to a foundation that is itself crumbling…. all very analogous to the situation in the district right now….
