I am very sorry to all those who have been upset by my suggestion that knitting should be banned. There isn’t really any serious prospect of that happening. I was only spinning a yarn.

As always, the knitters of England rule. Some of you have even described them as heroes !

Heroes don’t always wear capes, not even woolen ones.

It isn’t April 1st. I just thought it is nice to have a bit of a summer chuckle. I am sorry if you feel I have pulled the wool over your eyes.
