A bit of good news with regard to the boardwalk that runs from the Salmon Leap Totton to Nursling, that is in need of repairs and has been “officially” closed for the best part of two years.

I have chased up the Countryside Service (part of Hampshire County Council), who told me earlier in the year that the work had been put out to a contactor.

I now understand that materials will be arriving from next Wednesday and it is hoped that repairs will be undertaken and completed before the end of summer.
