I do take an interest in trees. The current trend towards heat waves tell us that we need more of them in urban areas.

This tree, in Romsey, was something of a surprise to me. Believe it or not, it is an oak tree !

I imagine the owner must have frequently cut it, topiary fashion, in order to give it a shape and appearance most unlike the oak trees we are used to seeing…
