I do accept that any reduction in the prices charged for going to theme parks is obviously welcome, particularly for family budgets. However, it does help to put things in context if you are considering affordability.

A family ticket to Paultons Park would have cost £160, before the Government decision to reduce the VAT element. However, it will still cost £140, (a saving of £20).

Similarly, Alton Towers would have charged £140, but a family ticket will now be about £18 cheaper.

These are still pretty expensive days out. Still, not something most families would do frequently and it’s always great to enjoy family time, creating memories of fun times. Paultons Park is particularly good.
